I am part of Kezi as the work co-incides with my long term goals doing what I enjoy and allows me to make a contribution in my own way to the company, co-workers and clients.  I love it because of the talented people I work with.

Being one of the 'older' members of the team - I think I could be considered one of those prioneering generation of 'empty nesters', who have managed the work / life balance.  Empty nesters bring to the table not only experience in our chosen field but also skills honed over years of simultaneous child rearing: multi-tasking, time management, patience, unflappability - everything it takes to rear a child and hold on to a job at the same time.  We have become valuable staff members, never having to leave the office to relieve the babysitter, or even think about a babysitter!

An old unwritten rule that, to be taken seriously in business, women in top level jobs had to be "frumpy" does not apply to our gals at Kezi.   We are kind of hot, not afraid to look good and work hard (sorry LJ and Anthony - you're not so bad yourselves).  We are fun to hang out with after work, and I think we're setting an example of 'fabulousness' in the Kezi workplace.
